The Japan Patent Office has announced an adjustment to patent annuity fees, effective 1 April 2022.
To ensure sufficient processing time for IPFEE’s annuity payment operations:
IPFEE will update the Japan patent annuity fees—government official fee schedule—on 16 March 2022.
For annuity orders submitted through IPFEE before 16 March 2022, IPFEE will process the payment based on the current official fee schedule.
Orders submitted on or after 16 March 2022 will be processed using the new fee schedule below.
